Refer a friend

Contextium's referral program has one simple reward: when three people you invite start using Contextium, you earn a permanent free team-member seat. On the Free plan — which normally includes a single seat — that extra seat is what lets you start collaborating with a teammate without upgrading.

How it works

1. Share your referral link. Send it to friends and colleagues, or post it anywhere you like.
2. They sign up through your link (or enter your referral code within 30 days of signing up).
3. They start using Contextium. A referral counts once the person reaches their first "aha moment" — the first time they serve context to an AI tool. Simply creating an account is not enough.
4. You unlock your free seat. As soon as three of your referrals are actively using Contextium, one permanent team-member seat is added to your plan automatically.

The reward is a one-time, permanent seat — it stays on your plan for good, with no upgrade and no monthly cost.

Find your referral link

Open Referrals from your dashboard. There you'll find:

• Your referral link — in the form https://contextium.io/register?ref=YOURCODE. Click Copy Link to share it.
• Your progress — a live count of how many referrals have started using Contextium (for example, 2 of 3), so you always know how close you are to the free seat.
• Your referral history — everyone you've invited and their current status.

After you earn the seat

Once the seat is unlocked, invite your teammate the normal way — from your workspace members list. The extra seat is already on your plan, so there's nothing else to buy. See Manage your team for how to send a workspace invitation and choose a role.

Redeeming someone else's code

Were you referred by a friend? You can credit them: go to Referrals and enter their referral code. You have 30 days from signup to do this. Crediting them counts you toward their free seat once you start using Contextium.

Who the program is for

The referral reward is a free seat, so it's designed for the Free (Starter) plan. Pro, Team, and Enterprise plans already include multiple (or unlimited) seats, so the referral page is only available on the Free plan. For a full breakdown of what each plan includes, see Plans and limits.

Frequently asked questions

Does a referral count as soon as someone signs up? No. It counts only once that person actively uses Contextium for the first time — creating an account alone doesn't unlock anything.

Can I earn more than one seat? The reward is a single permanent seat for reaching three activated referrals. It's a one-time reward, not one seat per three people.

Do I lose the seat later? No — the seat is permanent and stays on your plan.
