Organise with context libraries

Use context libraries to group related files, skills, and agents together.

Context libraries are the top-level containers for organising your content. Think of them as separate collections for different audiences, projects, or domains — for example, one library for customer-facing help articles and another for internal engineering docs.

Create a context library

  1. Click Create Context Library on the dashboard, or click + next to Context Libraries in the sidebar.
  2. Enter a name and an optional description.
  3. Click Create.

To rename or update a library later, navigate to it and click Context Library Settings (the gear icon).

Add a file to a context library

  1. Navigate to the context library where you want the file.
  2. Click New File.
  3. Give it a title and start writing — changes save automatically.

You can also move an existing file into a different library:

  1. Open the file.
  2. Click the menu (top-right).
  3. Select Move to Context Library and choose the destination.

Delete a context library

Navigate to the library, click Context Library Settings (the gear icon), and choose Delete. Deleting a library moves it and all its files to your Trash.

Tips

  • One library per audience or project — keep customer docs separate from internal docs so you can share the right context with the right people.
  • Use tags across libraries — tags work across all context libraries, so you can find related content even when it lives in different collections.
  • Name libraries clearly — "API Docs", "Onboarding Guides", "Engineering Standards" are better than "Docs 1", "Docs 2".
